Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following OSHA and CLIA standards
- Process and label specimens accurately for laboratory testing
- Maintain patient records with confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Operate centrifuges and other laboratory equipment safely
- Provide patient education during blood collection procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid California Driver’s License (for travel between sites)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for patients
