Responsibilities
- Perform routine venipunctures and capillary blood draws with high precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare, label, and log patient specimens accurately for laboratory testing.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures clearly and managing anxiety.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage inventory of supplies and ensure phlebotomy equipment is sterilized and functional.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to enroll in and successfully complete our comprehensive Paid Training Program.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Current Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
