Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory accurately.
- Ensure all phlebotomy equipment is clean, sterilized, and ready for use.
- Assist with vital signs monitoring and patient intake procedures.
- Manage patient appointments and check-in processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. We offer paid training for qualified candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records (EHR).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
