Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Verify patient identity and accurately label blood samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
- Assist nurses and physicians with various clinical procedures and patient intake.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of blood collection procedures.
- Comfort patients during procedures and answer any questions regarding the process.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Enthusiasm to learn new medical procedures through our paid training program.
