About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples for diagnostic testing, transfusions, research, or blood donations. You will work closely with nurses and physicians to ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with high accuracy and patient comfort.
- Verify patient identities and prepare medical records for the collection process.
- Maintain and sterilize all phlebotomy equipment to ensure infection control standards are met.
- Label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory promptly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
- Assist with patient intake, vitals, and other clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current state licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
