Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and processing following CLIA standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with lab teams via remote systems for test result verification
- Document procedures accurately in our electronic health record system
- Conduct quality control checks and equipment maintenance
- Train patients on pre-test preparation requirements
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with LIS systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while adhering to remote work protocols
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
