Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws accurately and efficiently
- Process and label specimens following strict laboratory protocols
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Verify patient identities and prepare samples for testing
- Operate centrifuges and automated analyzers
- Document procedures and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient education during blood collection procedures
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Phlebotomy Technician certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques for diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
