As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic process by accurately collecting blood samples and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples via venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Verify patient identities and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist patients with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Manage and organize medical records and inventory.
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
