Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Engage clients in cognitive stimulation and recreational activities
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care documentation and communicate with families
- Ensure home safety and assist with light housekeeping duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Washington State Caregiver Certification required
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Washington driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Clean background check and negative TB test
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly care
