Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to medical professionals
- Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility needs
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
- Create engaging companionship through conversation and recreational activities
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and agency care protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Clear background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
