Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor and document client health status, medication schedules, and vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using personal vehicle
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities to combat isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe, comfortable living environments
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certification as CNA/HHA
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with elderly clients
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on care tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
