Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environment
- Document care activities and client observations accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion when working with elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
