Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe home environments
- Administer medications as per care plan and state regulations
- Document client care accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes throughout Baltimore
- Compassionate patient demeanor and physical ability to assist clients
- Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings as needed
