Responsibilities
- Design quantum-AI hybrid architectures for scalable machine learning solutions
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum algorithms
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for quantum-AI convergence projects
- Mentor PhD researchers and build university partnerships
- Translate theoretical models into commercial IP portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Published work in quantum supremacy or hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience leading technical teams of 5+ researchers
