Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams in quantum algorithm development
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Author breakthrough research publications for top-tier journals/conferences
- Translate quantum computing innovations into commercial applications
- Collaborate with NASA, MIT, and CERN on quantum-AI integration projects
- Secure $2M+ in government and private research funding annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics from Tier 1 institution
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum-AI research
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants for quantum research
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Published work on quantum neural networks or quantum-classical hybrids
