Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit compilation
- Develop quantum-resistant security frameworks for blockchain and AI systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, surface, LDPC)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related field
- Experience with quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government contracts
