Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelity for commercial applications
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware and software innovations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Experience securing DoD or DARPA quantum technology grants
- Certification in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum security protocols (QKD, PQC)
