Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Translate quantum algorithms into optimized hardware specifications
- Present quantum advantage roadmaps to Fortune 500 partners
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years designing quantum circuits or simulators
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum journals
- Experience with cryogenic electronics and microwave engineering
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills for quantum control systems
- Understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
