Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubits by 2026
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines for enterprise clients
- Develop error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead quantum software SDK development for cloud deployment
- Collaborate with MIT/Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing infrastructure grants
- Mentor PhD-level quantum engineers in Austin and Zurich labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq with 50+ quantum algorithm implementations
- Proven track record scaling quantum systems to 100+ qubits
- Experience securing DOE/NSF quantum computing grants
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
