Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Design and optimize quantum circuits for next-generation processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at global conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from government and private entities
- Mentor a team of 5-7 quantum researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop patentable quantum solutions addressing 2026-era challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of high-impact quantum publications
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in error correction and fault tolerance
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
