Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum hardware providers and academic institutions

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA, VQE)
- Experience managing research budgets exceeding $5M and multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Active participation in IEEE Quantum Computing or similar professional bodies
