Responsibilities

- Lead a cross-functional team of 15+ quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with academic institutions and government agencies on quantum security protocols
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through compelling proposals and stakeholder presentations
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our fellowship program
- Represent Nexus Labs at international quantum computing summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published peer-reviewed papers
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum machine learning
- Proven track record of leading high-stakes R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, trapped ions)
- Experience securing federal and private research funding ($5M+ total)
