Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design and implement quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into industry applications
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Stay current with emerging quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit or Cirq
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and algorithm design
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum information science
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
