Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration projects
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Secure research grants and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Advise on quantum cybersecurity protocols for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD candidates and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical analysis
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
