Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Present breakthroughs at global quantum summits and academic conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2021-2026 graduates encouraged)
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Security clearance eligibility (preferred)
- Track record of securing federal research grants
