Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization problems
- Simulate quantum systems using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks
- Lead experiments on 50+ qubit quantum processors with error correction protocols
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into neural networks
- Author whitepapers and patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at IEEE/ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion-trap systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, OpenQASM)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallelization
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
