Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at leading quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum processor constraints
- Identify and address scalability challenges in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
- Publication record in high-impact quantum computing journals or conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
