Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM and Rigetti systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computers
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-inspired machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Mentor PhD interns from MIT and Stanford's quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Theory
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Cirq, ProjectQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
