Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging quantum hardware
- Mentor junior researchers and coordinate cross-functional quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum physics
- Experience with quantum simulators and real quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
