Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-safe hybrid cloud architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error correction protocols for quantum processors
- Architect zero-trust security frameworks for quantum-encrypted data pipelines
- Develop predictive maintenance models for quantum hardware using ML/AI integration
- Create quantum computing roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Optimize quantum-classical workflows for pharmaceutical and financial modeling
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum supremacy applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction, superconducting qubits, and cryogenic systems
- Proven track record architecting AWS/Azure quantum services (Braket, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant computing roadmaps
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing applications
- Experience with DOE/NASA quantum computing initiatives preferred
