Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum network topologies with sub-millisecond latency requirements
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Implement quantum-safe cryptographic protocols across distributed networks
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum annealing and gate-based systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum circuit optimization
- Advanced knowledge of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in distributed systems architecture (Kubernetes, Apache Spark)
- Certification in quantum computing from recognized institutions (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD-level clearance
