Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity for mission-critical applications
- Architect secure quantum communication networks leveraging quantum key distribution (QKD)
- Translate complex quantum algorithms into executable code for quantum processors
- Establish performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for quantum systems
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm optimization (Shor's, Grover's)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and error correction techniques
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
