Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Architect quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Document technical specifications and present progress to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum information theory or related fields
