Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Specialized certification in area of practice (e.g., CCRN, ONC)
- Demonstrated expertise in electronic medical records
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
