Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced clinical settings
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC systems)
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to JCAHO and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active NE RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 1+ years in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with EMR documentation systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
