Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess health status, reporting changes to medical team
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
