Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff through our robust orientation program
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- BSN or higher degree preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with ACLS/BLS certification
- Proven expertise in critical care, trauma, or emergency nursing
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated ability to perform under high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competency
