Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients across all age groups
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Document patient encounters using Epic EHR systems
- Maintain patient safety standards during high-pressure situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER/acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
