Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care units with 4:1 patient ratios
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress using Epic EMR systems
- Mentor new nursing staff through our RN residency program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and JCAHO compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
