Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical/surgical units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and document electronic health records
- Educate patients/families on disease management and preventive care
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN)
- BSN preferred; ASN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly valued)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
