Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies
- Respond to emergency situations with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Mentor junior nursing staff through clinical guidance
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
