Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and general wards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using advanced electronic health record systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
