Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and general medicine units
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision and safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using our advanced EHR system
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Advocate for patient needs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
