Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records accurately
- Implement emergency response protocols and critical care interventions
- mentor nursing students and new staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Electronic health record proficiency
