Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and care plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise LVNs and nursing assistants as assigned
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with commitment to BSN)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
