Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units with clinical excellence
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and outcomes using EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
- Proven experience with Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
