Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings with clinical excellence
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license required (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certifications maintained
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
