Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and coordinate care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient history, symptoms, progress, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
