We are seeking a compassionate RN to join our dynamic Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
