Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to changes in condition.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions in the electronic health record.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Massachusetts.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
